Those tiny tags inside your clothes aren't just decoration — they're a standardized guide to keeping your garments looking their best.
Washing Symbols
- **Tub with water** = Machine washable
- **Hand in tub** = Hand wash only
- **Number inside tub** = Maximum wash temperature (°C)
- **One line under tub** = Permanent press cycle
- **Two lines under tub** = Gentle/delicate cycle
- **Crossed-out tub** = Do not wash
Drying Symbols
- **Square with circle** = Tumble dry allowed
- **One dot inside circle** = Low heat
- **Two dots** = Medium heat
- **Three dots** = High heat
- **Crossed-out circle** = Do not tumble dry
- **Square with three vertical lines** = Drip dry
Bleaching & Ironing
- **Triangle** = Bleaching allowed
- **Crossed-out triangle** = Do not bleach
- **Iron with dots** = Temperature guide (1-3 dots)
- **Crossed-out iron** = Do not iron
Dry Cleaning
- **Circle** = Dry clean
- **Letter inside circle** = Solvent type (A, F, P)
- **Crossed-out circle** = Do not dry clean
- **Bar under circle** = Gentle cleaning
